Yoga Styles Canvas: the story behind
The idea for a Yoga Map hit us at the beginning of 2017, during our stay in the mecca of yoga, Bali. We hadn’t done much yoga before but, we have to admit, there is nothing better than yoga stretches after a long surf session.
The research was done by a group of yogis who attended a yoga teacher training in Canggu. We were stoked to work with Eva again who’d already illustrated the Sketch Map the year before and her soft style was the perfect fit for illustrating the Yoga Map, too.We think she’s done a great job with the artwork.
The map shows all the different yoga styles and the founders behind them & it also pinpoints the best yoga ashrams, yoga festivals and yoga communities so you can plan your yoga adventures. The Yoga Map is a great gift for yogis everywhere.
